Bio
Frank Nash was a local recruit from Flemington Methodists who brought exceptional height to the Essendon lineup during the interwar years. Standing 191cm, he was a giant by the standards of the day, using his significant reach and size to operate as a follower and centre half-forward. While he possessed the physical tools to compete strongly in the air, Nash battled to cement a permanent spot in the senior side, often drifting in and out of the starting XVIII over the course of a decade-long tenure. He nevertheless proved a durable and loyal clubman for the Bombers, providing essential ruck support and structural depth across 80 games before retiring at the end of the 1935 season.
