Bio
Recruited from Malvern Tramways as a mature-age rookie, Frank Richardson brought a hardened edge to Melbourne after serving in World War I. A rover and wingman by trade, he was given his opportunity late in the 1925 season, debuting at the age of 27 in a Round 12 clash against St Kilda. Despite the Demons enjoying a strong campaign, Richardson found it difficult to secure a permanent spot in a competitive lineup, managing just two senior appearances and missing out on the club's finals series. Unable to break back into the side the following year, he was eventually cleared to VFA club Prahran midway through 1926.
