Bio
Recruited from East Ballarat, Frank Stephenson arrived at North Melbourne as a mature-age prospect, making his debut just days shy of his 24th birthday in the opening round of the 1958 season. Standing 188cm, he provided considerable height and physical presence for the Kangaroos, operating as a key position player who could compete in the air. Donning the number 16 guernsey, he became a regular fixture in his second year, playing 17 games in 1959 under coach Wally Carter. Stephenson’s time at Arden Street was relatively brief but consistent, tallying 30 senior appearances and six goals during a challenging era for the club before departing after the 1960 season.
