Bio
Recruited from Ararat in the Wimmera Football League, Frank Vearing was a rover who broke into the Melbourne lineup at the start of the 1965 season. He debuted in the opening round against Geelong and held his spot for the first eight matches of the year, showing promise as a small forward option by hitting the scoreboard early in his tenure. However, as the Demons faced internal turmoil during the turbulent end of the Norm Smith era, Vearing struggled to cement a permanent role in the senior side. He added just three more games in 1966 before leaving the VFL, eventually continuing his career in the VFA with Prahran.
