Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Riverina region of New South Wales, Frank Whitty arrived at Glenferrie Oval as a tall follower from Corowa who had cut his teeth with Daysdale and Coreen. Standing 187cm, he possessed significant height for the era and proved to be a dangerous ruck-forward, averaging a goal a game during his brief VFL stint. Despite showing promise as a scoring target in 1929, his time at the top level was short-lived; he transferred to Camberwell in the VFA midway through the 1930 season and later finished his playing days with Brighton.
