Bio
Hailing from Benalla with elite sporting pedigree—his father Andrew played league football for Melbourne and his uncle is former Test cricketer Adam Dale—Frazer Dale joined the Blues via the 2012 Rookie Draft. A versatile medium utility who cut his teeth with the Calder Cannons, he earned an unexpected promotion to the senior list midway through his first season, receiving a rookie upgrade to replace teammate Sam Rowe who had been moved to the long-term injury list during a battle with cancer. Dale made his debut in Round 17, 2012, playing two consecutive matches and booting a solitary career goal. Despite his ability to play at either end of the ground, he was unable to crack the senior rotation throughout the 2013 season and was delisted after just two appearances at the top level.
