Stats
Bio
Recruited from Leopold, Fred Condon arrived at South Melbourne in 1925, joining his older brother Bill Condon at the Lake Oval. A diminutive figure at just 174cm and 66kg, Condon was a light-framed rover and small forward who relied on agility and evasion rather than physical presence. He managed to break into the senior side for 10 games over two seasons, booting four goals, but found it difficult to consistently hold his place in the lineup against sturdier opposition. His brief VFL tenure ended after the 1926 season, leaving the league while his brother remained a regular fixture for the club.
