Bio
Recruited from the strong footballing hub of Ballarat, Frederick Larkin earned his opportunity with Richmond during the club's historic inaugural season in the VFL. The Beechworth native was a young addition to the squad as the Tigers sought to establish a competitive list following their transition from the VFA in 1908. Larkin managed just two senior appearances in that debut year without registering a major, ultimately struggling to cement a permanent spot in the lineup against the higher standard of metropolitan competition. While his tenure at the top level was brief, he remains recorded as one of the foundation players to represent the club in its first VFL campaign before he faded from the league scene.
