Stats
Bio
Recruited from East Perth with pick 56 in the 2006 National Draft, Garry Moss was a skillful left-footer and the grand-nephew of Brownlow Medallist Graham Moss. Primarily deployed as a crafty half-forward who could rotate through the midfield, he relied on elite kicking skills and game sense to compensate for a lack of explosive pace. While he showed glimpses of his potential, most notably with a match-winning four-goal haul against Sydney in 2009, his time at Hawthorn was plagued by persistent soft-tissue injuries and strong competition for spots within a premiership-contending squad. After being delisted and re-rookied in an attempt to salvage his career, Moss was cut from the list permanently at the end of 2010, returning to Western Australia where he forged a successful state-league career.
