Bio
Recruited from Karingal on the Mornington Peninsula, Geoff "Chas" Amoore was a tall utility who joined St Kilda during a challenging era for the club in the early 1980s. Standing 188cm with a slender frame, he was developed as a key position prospect but faced difficulty imposing himself against seasoned VFL bodies. He managed just a handful of senior games across his tenure at Moorabbin, primarily filling gaps in a struggling lineup that often found itself under immense pressure. Unable to cement a regular spot in the best 22, he eventually departed the VFL system and continued his football journey with Frankston in the VFA.
