Bio
Recruited from Violet Town, Geoff Farrelly was a lightly framed utility who played a cameo role for Hawthorn during the 1933 VFL season. Born in Albury, the 175cm recruit broke into the senior side for two matches, managing to hit the scoreboard with a single major during his brief time at League level. Unable to cement a regular spot in the lineup, Farrelly’s tenure at Glenferrie Oval was short-lived, representing one of the many country footballers who briefly tested themselves in the metropolitan competition before fading from the top flight.
