Stats
Bio
Recruited from Altona, Geoff Heyme was a lightly built defender who managed a brief VFL career with South Melbourne in the early 1960s. Standing 183cm but weighing only 72kg, he possessed the height for a key position but lacked the physical bulk to dominate in the contest, primarily operating as a defensive utility. He played five games in his debut 1962 season and added another five in 1963, but struggled to secure a permanent spot in Noel McMahen's senior lineup. Unable to impact the scoreboard or break into the regular 22, he left the Lakeside Oval at the end of 1963 having played 10 games without kicking a goal.
