Bio
Recruited from Warrnambool, George Threlfall endured a sporadic VFL career at Richmond where he struggled to command a regular place in the senior side over a six-year tenure. A forward option who could also drift further up the ground, Threlfall debuted in the final round of the 1919 season but found himself predominantly on the fringe of selection, often playing solitary matches in scattered seasons before a final block of games in 1924. Unable to displace the established forwards in a competitive Tigers lineup, he remained a depth player throughout his time at Punt Road before his VFL career concluded.
