Stats
Bio
Recruited from South Fremantle in the WAFL, George White made the journey across the Nullarbor to join St Kilda for the 1931 season. He arrived at the Junction Oval during a difficult era for the club, slotting into a lineup that spent the year battling to avoid the wooden spoon. A versatile utility capable of operating through the centre or setting up in defence, White also displayed an ability to push forward and hit the scoreboard, contributing six goals during his stint. He managed to hold down a spot in the senior side for the majority of the year, playing 13 matches, but his time in the VFL proved fleeting, as he departed the Saints after just a single season in Victoria.
