Bio
Recruited from Gormandale in the Latrobe Valley, Glenn Middlemiss was a rover and small forward capable of hitting the scoreboard. He made his debut for Geelong in 1979 but found it difficult to cement a regular spot in a strong Cats lineup, eventually seeking a clearance to St Kilda midway through the 1981 season. This mid-year switch saw him achieve the rare feat of playing senior football for two different clubs in the same VFL season. While his time at Moorabbin coincided with a lean era for the Saints, the move granted him the consistent senior opportunities he had lacked at Kardinia Park, serving as a rotation midfielder and resting forward until his final season in 1984.
