Bio
Recruited from SANFL club Norwood under the father-son rule, Glenn Molloy arrived at Melbourne in 1993 carrying a famous surname as the son of former Demon and Tassie Medalist Graham Molloy. A versatile, strong-marking utility who was primarily deployed across half-back, he possessed the size and aggression to swing forward when required but found it difficult to cement a permanent position in the senior side. His most significant contribution came during the 1994 season, where he overcame a knee injury to break into the team for the club's finals campaign, eventually lining up in the Semi Final against West Coast. Unable to replicate his prolific state-league form consistently at the elite level, Molloy departed the AFL after the 1996 season and returned to Norwood, where he immediately played a key role in their 1997 premiership victory.
