Bio
Recruited from the Hampden Football League club Cobden, Glenn Ward was a solid utility who made a brief appearance for Fitzroy during the 1977 VFL season. Standing 183cm, he was called up to the senior side late in the year, making his debut in Round 18 against Collingwood as the Lions languished near the bottom of the ladder. Ward retained his spot for three consecutive matches in a struggling lineup but failed to trouble the scorers or secure a long-term position, eventually departing the club after a single season at the elite level.
