Bio
Recruited from East Hawthorn, Gordon Ramsay was a solid utility who joined St Kilda as a teenager in the post-war era. Standing 180cm, he debuted in 1947 but struggled to command a regular position in the senior side, often finding himself on the fringe of selection during a lean period for the club. He managed just 13 games across three seasons at the Junction Oval without registering a goal, eventually departing the VFL to find greater continuity in the VFA with Port Melbourne, where he played nearly 50 games in the early 1950s.
