Stats
Bio
Recruited from Warracknabeal in the Wimmera Football League, Graeme Clyne was a key position prospect who briefly featured for Fitzroy during the 1962 VFL season. Standing 188cm, a significant height for the era, he donned the number 33 guernsey and offered a tall option for a Lions outfit that was struggling in the bottom half of the ladder. Although he broke into the senior side to play six matches, he was unable to trouble the scorers or secure a permanent spot in the starting 18, eventually departing Brunswick Street after a single season. Clyne remains a representative of the strong country recruitment zones that fed VFL lists in the 1960s, recognised as the 772nd player to represent the club before his passing in 2024.
