Bio
Recruited from Maffra in the Latrobe Valley, Graeme Fellowes was a skillful ruckman whose time at Collingwood was highlighted by ultimate success despite a career frequently restricted by persistent injuries. Breaking into the senior side in 1956, he became a central figure in the club's famous 1958 premiership victory, playing a key role in the ruck during the monumental upset of Melbourne. Although his tenure spanned nine seasons, fitness issues and strong competition for spots limited him to just 66 appearances, preventing him from accumulating the game tally his talent arguably warranted. His standing at Victoria Park is secured not only by his premiership medallion but also by a unique family distinction, as his son Wes Fellowes mirrored his achievement by winning a flag with the Magpies in 1990.
