Bio
Recruited from the Hampden Football League, Graeme Reichman arrived at Victoria Park with a strong reputation as a Maskell Medal winner for Mortlake. He spent a season in the reserves before breaking into the senior side for the opening round of 1973, establishing himself on the wing for a Collingwood team that would eventually claim the minor premiership. Reichman played the first 10 games of the season and showed promise as a regular contributor in a winning side, but injury struck halfway through the year, effectively ending his VFL career just as it was gaining momentum. Rather than persisting in the city, he returned to western Victoria where he cemented his status as a country football legend, winning a second Maskell Medal with Mortlake and later claiming a premiership and league best-and-fairest with the Hamilton Imperials during a career that extended into his late forties.
