Bio
Recruited from local club Chadstone, Graeme Spark was a handy medium forward who earned a brief opportunity at senior level during Hawthorn's premiership-winning 1976 season. He made a promising start to his VFL career, debuting at the MCG against Melbourne in Round 7 and booting two goals to help the Hawks to a comfortable victory. Despite showing potential as an 18-year-old goal-kicker, he found himself competing for a spot in a formidable forward line that featured icons like Michael Moncrieff and Leigh Matthews. Consequently, Spark managed just one more senior appearance before falling out of contention, a victim of the incredible squad depth that defined the Hawks' golden era.
