Bio
A World War II veteran who served in New Guinea, Graham Dunscombe was recruited to North Melbourne from VFA club Sandringham. Standing just 168cm, the diminutive footballer broke into the senior lineup late in the 1947 season, debuting against St Kilda and holding his spot for the final five rounds. Although his playing time at Arden Street was fleeting, Dunscombe went on to become a highly successful figure in the VFA coaching ranks, notably guiding both Moorabbin and Prahran to premierships during the 1960s.
