Bio
Recruited from North Launceston in the NTFA, Graham "Moose" Hunnibell was a formidable Tasmanian ruckman who arrived at Melbourne in 1978 with a strong reputation. Already a premiership player and best and fairest winner in his home state, the 193cm big man found it difficult to cement a regular senior spot in a Demons outfit that boasted established ruck stocks like Garry Baker and Carl Ditterich. Hunnibell spent the majority of his three seasons at the MCG plying his trade in the seconds, where his dominance was recognised with the 1980 Reserves Best and Fairest award. After managing just 12 senior appearances, he returned to Tasmania and forged a legendary career across three clubs, eventually earning induction into the Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame as one of the state's most decorated players.
