Stats
Bio
Recruited from the University Blues amateurs while studying law at Melbourne University, Graham Kerr entered the VFL with Carlton in 1954. He played 13 games over two seasons at Princes Park before crossing to Melbourne, a move that coincided with the Demons' most dominant era under Norm Smith. Breaking into a lineup stacked with premiership stars proved immensely difficult; although he missed senior selection throughout the 1956 season, Kerr highlighted his ability by winning the Gardiner Medal as the league's best and fairest reserves player. He managed three senior appearances in 1957 before moving to the country, where he established a successful legal practice and served as a long-term player and administrator for the Wangaratta Football Club.
