Bio
Recruited from North Albury in the strong Ovens and Murray Football League, Graham Schodde arrived at Moorabbin during a turbulent era for St Kilda. A wingman capable of drifting forward to hit the scoreboard, he made his senior debut in the 1980 season as the Saints looked to rebuild their list following a wooden spoon finish the previous year. Despite the club's desperate search for consistent midfield depth, Schodde found regular senior opportunities difficult to come by, managing just five appearances across two seasons at the elite level. His brief VFL career concluded at the end of 1981, leaving him as one of many country recruits from that period who earned a taste of league football without establishing a long-term tenure in the side.
