Bio
A standout West Adelaide product and 1985 Magarey Medalist, Grantley Fielke first tested himself at VFL level with Collingwood in 1987. Despite playing 16 games, he could not fully replicate his dominant SANFL form in Victoria and returned to South Australia after a single season. The formation of the Adelaide Crows provided a career lifeline in 1991, allowing the skilled wingman to return to the elite competition as a mature-age recruit. Fielke added experience and class to the Crows' inaugural list, featuring 24 times over two seasons before retiring from AFL football to conclude a distinguished state league career.
