Bio
A tenacious mature-age recruit whose AFL opportunity came after years of dominance at state league level, Clark was a three-time premiership player with Subiaco before finally being drafted. Overlooked in six consecutive drafts despite captaining the WA Under-18s in 2015, he eventually forced West Coast’s hand with a Simpson Medal-winning display in the 2021 WAFL Grand Final. He joined the Eagles with pick 62 in the 2021 National Draft as a big-bodied midfielder known for his elite endurance and high-pressure tackling, but often found himself deployed on a wing or in defensive stopping roles during a turbulent rebuilding era for the club. Unable to lock down a permanent inside midfield spot, he was delisted at the end of 2023 and returned to the Lions, where he was immediately appointed captain.
