Bio
A product of the local APS school system, Greg Lindquist was recruited to the Cats directly from Geelong College. He broke into the senior lineup as an 18-year-old early in the 1972 season, presenting as a mid-sized utility capable of filling gaps in the starting 18. Despite earning sporadic opportunities over two years—including selection for the opening two rounds of the 1973 VFL season—Lindquist found it difficult to secure a permanent spot in the side. He departed Kardinia Park at the conclusion of 1973 having played eight senior matches without registering a goal.
