Bio
Guy Jenkin is a hard-running utility who has developed through the Manly Warringah Wolves and the Sydney Swans Academy. Earning Under-16 All Australian honours in 2024, Jenkin continued his steady rise by winning a spot in the 2025 Marsh AFL National Futures squad before becoming a key figure for the Swans Academy during an undefeated start to their 2026 Talent League campaign. He subsequently represented the Allies at the 2026 National Championships, regularly taking the field alongside his brother, William, who is also a top Academy prospect.
Standing at 177cm, Jenkin usually operates as a general defender, wingman or high forward. Scouts constantly praise his elite endurance, noting that his running capacity allows him to overwhelm opponents and act as a crucial connective piece in transition. He reads the play expertly to find space on the outside, and recruiters value his clean disposal on both sides of his body, toughness and sound decision-making under pressure. As a standout local product, Jenkin is tied to Sydney, and the Swans are fully expected to match any rival bid for him at the 2026 AFL Draft.
