Bio
A recruit from the Gippsland town of Stratford, Harold Curran’s VFL career was a brief but curious cameo during the 1911 season. He managed just two senior appearances for Melbourne in Rounds 9 and 10 before requesting a mid-season clearance to Collingwood, a move that ultimately resulted in zero games for the Magpies. While he failed to establish himself in the city, Curran remained a significant figure in his home district, returning to Stratford in 1912 where he later served as captain.
