Stats
Bio
A towering recruit from Mannum in South Australia, Harold Schedlich arrived at St Kilda as a 31-year-old mature-age prospect in the post-war era. Standing 188cm, he provided rare height for the Saints and was capable of playing as a key forward or follower. His late entry to the VFL was a result of his prime athletic years being interrupted by service as a Flying Officer in the RAAF during World War II. He managed just three senior games and a solitary goal during the 1947 season before departing the big league to continue his football journey with Yarrawonga in the Ovens & Murray League.
