Bio
Harrison Bridge is a classy outside midfielder and half-back who has developed through the Brisbane Lions Academy system. Originally from Melbourne where he played junior football for Wyndham Vale, he moved to Queensland and joined Sherwood Districts. A standout junior, Bridge earned Under-16 All-Australian honours in 2023 before cementing his place in the Lions Academy and representing the Allies at the National Championships. In 2026, his strong form at Talent League level earned him a promotion to Brisbane's VFL list, where he made his state league debut in May and gained valuable experience against mature bodies.
On the field, Bridge is known for his relentless run and carry and damaging left-foot kick. Operating primarily on the wing or across half-back, he intercepts the ball exceptionally well and uses his high football IQ and precise disposal to launch scoring chains from defence. While scouts praise his playmaking ability and outside polish, they note he will need to continue building his physical strength and developing his contested game at the next level. As a tied Brisbane Lions Academy prospect, the club is expected to match any rival bids, with recruiters viewing him as a promising option late in the draft.
