Bio
Recruited from Leopold in the metropolitan junior ranks, Harry Boully was a premiership player who joined Melbourne midway through the 1901 season. An on-baller capable of drifting forward to impact the scoreboard, he held the unusual distinction of serving on the Leopold committee even while breaking into the VFL senior side. After six games in his debut year, he briefly returned to his original club before making a final two-game cameo for Melbourne in 1902 where he booted three goals. His time at the top level ended shortly after, as he departed the city the following year to play for Wodonga in country Victoria.
