Bio
Recruited from North Brunswick Amateurs, Harry Green was a precocious talent who made his senior debut for North Melbourne at just 16 years of age in 1937. Standing 188cm, he was a tall utility capable of playing key positions or following the ball, using his height to advantage in marking contests while regularly drifting forward to hit the scoreboard. He became a reliable contributor for the Shinboners during the early 1940s before his career was interrupted by World War II service, which forced him out of the game for three full seasons between 1943 and 1945. Green returned to Arden Street for one final campaign in 1946, adding six games to his tally before retiring from VFL football.
