Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Fire Brigade Football Club, Harry McPherson was a utility who struggled to establish a permanent foothold at VFL level during the mid-1920s. Standing 180cm, he offered decent height for the era and spent two seasons on Carlton's list, but found himself on the fringe of selection and unable to cement a regular spot in the senior side. After departing Princes Park and spending the 1927 season out of the league, McPherson was thrown a lifeline by St Kilda in 1928. However, his second chance at the elite level was fleeting, yielding just a single appearance for the Saints before he moved on to the VFA, where he finished his career with a brief stint at Prahran.
