Bio
Harry Perryman arrived at Greater Western Sydney via the club's Academy pathway, selected with pick 14 in the 2016 National Draft after the Giants matched a bid from Adelaide. Hailing from the tiny town of Collingullie in the Riverina, he quickly established himself as one of the competition's most versatile operators. Perryman became the ultimate team-first utility for the Giants, deployed effectively across half-back, on the wing, and as a disciplined run-with midfielder. His time in Sydney's west was defined by consistency and selflessness, highlighted by a third-place finish in the 2020 Kevin Sheedy Medal and an appearance in the club's maiden Grand Final in 2019.
After eight seasons and over 150 games in orange and charcoal, Perryman exercised his rights as an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of the 2024 season. Despite strong interest from Port Adelaide and Hawthorn, he elected to join Collingwood, seeking the experience of playing for a powerhouse Victorian club. The move provided the Magpies with immediate two-way running power and tactical flexibility, with Perryman expected to slot straight into the senior side as a calm distributor and defensive stabiliser. He enters this new chapter as a seasoned veteran capable of impacting the game in multiple zones of the ground.
