A product of the GWS Giants Academy hailing from Griffith, Harry Rowston arrived at the club via the 2022 National Draft after the Giants matched a first-round bid from cross-town rivals Sydney. A hard-edged midfielder with a natural appetite for the contest, he is known for his clearance work and ability to drift forward to impact the scoreboard. Despite showing glimpses of his potential early on, Rowston found sustained opportunities difficult to come by due to the Giants' exceptional depth in the engine room. Consequently, he spent much of his first four seasons developing his craft in the VFL, serving as a reliable depth option while fighting to cement a permanent spot in the senior side.
