Bio
Recruited from Kew Juniors, Harry Walker broke into the Richmond side late in the 1912 season as a capable half-forward. He showed immediate promise by hitting the scoreboard in his early appearances, but his preparation for the following year was derailed when he suffered a severe facial injury while playing for the Richmond Footballers Cricket Club. Hampered by the interruption, he struggled to cement a permanent spot in the Tigers' lineup and eventually crossed the Nullarbor to play for East Perth in the WAFL, though he later returned to Victoria for a solitary VFL cameo with Fitzroy during the First World War.
