Bio
A product of the local Geelong pathway, Harvey Davis was recruited from Newtown & Chilwell and spent five seasons at Kardinia Park during the mid-1970s. Standing 183cm, he was a defensive utility who initially struggled to cement a regular place in the senior side, managing just 18 games across his first three seasons. His career-best form arrived in 1976, where he played 18 matches and became a consistent contributor in the back half for the Cats. Despite this breakout year, he was unable to maintain his spot the following season and departed the VFL scene at the end of 1977. Davis returned to grassroots football, eventually becoming a Life Member at his original club, Newtown & Chilwell.
