Bio
Recruited from Castlemaine in country Victoria, Heath Culpitt entered the AFL system via the 1998 Rookie Draft before being elevated to Carlton's senior list. A tough utility capable of playing through the midfield or across half-forward, he made his debut in 1999 but found consistent opportunities limited within a formidable Blues engine room that featured stars like Brett Ratten and Anthony Koutoufides. Culpitt managed 15 senior appearances over three seasons, often serving as a depth player for a side consistently pushing for finals action. After being delisted at the end of 2001, he forged a distinguished career at state league level, playing over 100 games in the SANFL for Glenelg and Norwood, and notably winning the Nichols Medal as the NTFL's best and fairest player while representing St Mary's.
