Bio
Born in Glasgow to a master mariner, Henry McPetrie was a Scottish forward who arrived at Princes Park via a stint with St Kilda in the VFA and local side West Beach. He holds a significant place in the club’s history as a member of Carlton’s inaugural VFL team, taking the field in the fledgling competition's opening round against Fitzroy at the Brunswick Street Oval. McPetrie managed five senior appearances in that foundation season, booting two goals, but did not feature at the top level beyond the league’s first year.
