Bio
Recruited from Ararat in country Victoria, Henry Ogilvie arrived at Carlton in 1962 but faced a difficult task breaking into the senior lineup. Standing 184cm, he managed just two games across two seasons at Princes Park, unable to secure a regular role before departing the VFL. However, Ogilvie found his true footing in the VFA with Werribee, where he became a standout player during the club's formative years in the association. A consistent performer who could also hit the scoreboard, he established a lasting legacy at Chirnside Park by winning Werribee's Best and Fairest award twice, claiming the club's top individual honour in both 1967 and 1969.
