Stats
Bio
Recruited from the rugged mining football fields of Tasmania, Horrie Trinder joined St Kilda from the Mt Lyell Association. Standing just 173cm, he was a diminutive option who arrived at the Junction Oval during the club’s darkest era, debuting in the midst of the infamous winless 1902 season. He battled against the odds in a side that was routinely thrashed, managing to snag two goals while playing primarily as a rover or small forward. Trinder’s time at the top level was fleeting, restricted to just 10 appearances across two consecutive wooden spoon campaigns before his brief VFL career concluded.
