Bio
The son of former St Kilda utility Frank Drohan, Ian Drohan joined the club from St Kilda CBC and made his senior debut in the opening round of the 1955 season. He was selected for the first three matches of the year, featuring in a side attempting to lift itself from the lower rungs of the ladder, but could not retain his spot beyond the early rounds. While his VFL career was limited to those three appearances without registering a goal, Drohan remains part of the club's father-son history, following in the footsteps of his father who played 37 games for the Saints in the 1920s.
