Bio
Recruited from Golden Square in the Bendigo Football League, Ian Lasslett joined North Melbourne ahead of the 1971 season. He broke into the senior side immediately, making his VFL debut in the opening round against Essendon at Windy Hill and retaining his spot for the subsequent match against Fitzroy. However, Lasslett was unable to consolidate his position in Keith McKenzie's lineup and was omitted after just two senior appearances, concluding his brief stint at Arden Street shortly before the club underwent its major transformation under Ron Barassi.
