Bio
Isaac Mayne is an outside midfielder and Gold Coast SUNS Academy prospect whose community football roots lie with Labrador. He elevated his game during the 2026 season, stepping up from the Talent League to gain valuable experience in the state league. For the Suns in the under-age competition, he consistently found the football, highlighted by a standout performance against the Murray Bushrangers where he was influential and hit the scoreboard heavily. He later held his own against senior bodies, earning multiple VFL appearances for Gold Coast in the back half of the year.
Spending time as both an outside midfielder and forward, Mayne is known for his turn of foot and ability to link up effectively by hand. Scouts have noted his threat in the attacking phase, helping his side transition smoothly from end to end. After dedicating his off-season to building his overall strength and explosiveness, his improved physicality has aided his contested work. As an Academy product, Gold Coast is expected to match any rival bid for him when his name is called on draft night.
