Bio
Recruited from the Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL with pick 62 in the 2006 National Draft, Isaac Weetra was a versatile utility who spent two seasons on Melbourne's list. He spent his first year developing with VFL affiliate Sandringham before breaking into the senior side for the opening two rounds of the 2008 season, making his debut against eventual premiers Hawthorn. Weetra was utilized primarily as a defender capable of playing on small or medium forwards, but he struggled to maintain his place in the side during a challenging era for the Demons. Unable to add to his two career games after being dropped following Round 2, he was delisted at the end of the 2008 season and returned to South Australia to continue his football in the SANFL.
