Bio
Recruited from South Melbourne Districts, Ivor Aldridge arrived at the Junction Oval to join St Kilda for the 1920 season. Standing 178cm, he was a lightly framed utility who rotated through the side during a particularly lean era for the club, with the Saints languishing near the bottom of the ladder. He managed to boot two goals during his debut year but struggled to cement a permanent spot in the senior 22, often finding himself on the fringe of selection. After adding just a handful of appearances in 1921, his VFL career concluded after two seasons, leaving him as a brief footnote in St Kilda’s post-war history.
