Stats
Bio
Recruited from local side Newtown, Jack Baker was a productive forward who provided depth for Geelong during a successful era for the club. He made his debut in the 1901 season—a year where the Pivotonians finished on top of the ladder—and quickly displayed an eye for the goals, maintaining a tidy average of one major per game throughout his tenure. Despite his efficiency in front of the big sticks, Baker found opportunities limited in a formidable lineup, managing just seven senior appearances across two seasons before his VFL career concluded at the end of 1902.
